EVA Performance
by Shooting Star top^
Yang, the energy side of Chinese life is
believed to come from the majestic elk. The
performance benefits that they have known
about for centuries have now been substantiated
by western research.
EVA (elk velvet antler) has been shown to:
- boost energy levels
- increase physical stamina
- assist blood flow
- prevent or repair muscle and tissue damage
following exercise
- stimulate muscle and tissue growth
- improve joint and bone health
- fight inflammation
- enhance the immune system
- slow aging
Centuries of Chinese practice and experience,
combined with modern scientific research
and anecdotal evidence, suggest that EVA (elk velvet antler)
has a positive effect on athletic performance.
From the young amateur athlete to the more
seasoned professional, EVA (elk velvet antler) is an excellent
choice for either its healing characteristics
and to increase your performance.

EVA Arthritis
by Shooting Star top^
“Elk Velvet Antler provides nutritional support for joint structure and
function.” - approved
indication by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration
There is no known cure for arthritis. EVA (elk velvet antler)
can help meet the four main objectives in
treating the disease: reducing inflammation
and pain, preserving joint function, preventing
deformity and optimizing functional health
and well being.
EVA (elk velvet antler) is clinically proven to relieve symptoms
of arthritis.
Studies have definitively confirmed that
the chondroitin sulfate in velvet antler
actually “helps restore joint function”.
Collagen constitutes more than a quarter
of the total fibrous protein which works
together with the connective tissues of the
human body.
Glucosamine sulfate, chondroitin sulfate
and collagen are currently in favor by those
seeking a natural remedy for arthritis. The
FDA recognizes their effectiveness, and allows
structure and function claims for joint health.
But when they are naturally packaged in EVA,
the various co-factors seem to result in
a significant performance edge over the isolated
chemicals when it comes to repairing damaged
joints.
Velvet antler is also one of a very few natural
sources for IGF-I and II, the secondary hormones
that do the work for human growth hormone.
These are probably the substances responsible
for increased effectiveness of chondroitin
sulfate and glucosamine sulfate in velvet
antler. The only other natural sources of
growth hormone are colostrum (the "first
milk" produced shortly after a cow or
a human mother gives birth) and blue-green
algae nucleus (chlorella is the most available
source).
You can’t turn back the clock but you
can wind it up again!
“Because you deserve to feel great everyday!”
What is EVA? top^
EVA is a safe, natural remedy that relieves
joint pain and promotes bone, muscle and
cartilage growth. Natural anti inflammatory
EVA is a nutritional supplement, without
compromising side effects that often accompany
many synthetic prescription drugs or even
some over-the-counter medications. EVA also
works well on its own.
EVA may be one of the missing elements in
the modern diet that has allowed tragic losses
to our collective health. EVA
has been shown to:
- enhance metabolism
- slow the aging process
- improve thyroid functions
- alleviate inflammatory conditions
- enhance the immune system and
to protect and restore damaged organ
tissues
- relieves joint pain
- promotes bone, muscle and cartilage
growth

Where does
EVA come from? top^
Elk antlers regenerate every year, and
are known to be the fastest growing animal
tissue known. Antler is the only mammalian
bone structure that regenerates annually.
Elk Velvet Antler (EVA), the form used for
nutritional purposes, is harvested from the
elk about half-way through the incredibly
prolific annual growth cycle. EVA is loaded
with growth factors, immune factors, cartilage,
glucosamine sulfate, chondroitin sulfate
and collagen – unlike the inert and
calcified horn or tooth that are permanent
and do not regenerate annually. The
harvesting process used by elk farmers is
not harmful to the elk. The velvety
covering on the antler is not used in the
EVA products. It is the inner cartilaginous
matrix that is used.
Elk have the ability to rapidly heal their
own broken bones, torn muscles and severed
tendons. The elk is the only animal
that is known to utilize self-healing powers
to regenerate bone, muscle and tissue. It
is these properties that, in fact, produce
the antlers annually. A truly remarkable
and renewable all natural product!

April 2000, Banff, Alberta. This is the
time and place that nutritional supplements
based on deer and elk antler finally achieve
scientific recognition in the west - a recognition
that has been taken for granted for well
over two thousand years in the east. This
was the first in Canada, Antler Science and
Product Technology Symposium. Every
four years the symposium brings together
a world community of scientists, doctors,
processors, producers and consumers to further
the exchange of knowledge and to explore
new insights about antler.

years of good health. Practitioners
of traditional Chinese medicine have used
EVA (elk velvet antler) to treat a variety of ailments and improve
the general health and well being of their
patients. Yin and Yang are rest and
energy. The Asians strive for balance. Yin
is inner peace while Yang, the energy side
is thought to come from the majestic elk.
Traditional Asian health focuses on the
prevention of ill health. Medical practices
in the western world uses the opposite theory
of treatment after illness sets in.
EVA (elk velvet antler) is considered the second most important
ingredient in traditional Chinese medicine
(the first is ginseng).
